2011 GT engine bay pieces missing?

Need some help from fellow 2011 GT owners. My 2011 GT does not have two pieces in the engine bay...specifically the two grey strut tower protectors...that are fastened to the curved parts facing the motor. But I see these on many other GTs. Is anyone also missing these? Deysha - were these vehicle specific?

Not sure what you're referencing? But, my car came missing the pushpins on the rear bumper, right behind the wheel - driver's side has them, passenger side doesn't

Look at this first picture, my car. Notice the two strut towers on either side of the motor. You can see red paint. No coverings.

Now look at this picture of a different car. Notice the grey protectors - where my car (above) does not have them.

That is sound dampening material. I think they added it in 2012

Was just going to say this...yep it's sound deadener. Probably to block out the LCA squeak and some of the engine tick

My 11 did not have those but my 12 does. I noticed them also and immediately thought someone stuck used mousepads in there.

Hi PJRManagement,

LEXiiON is correct. Those are sound insulators, which went into production in Mid-August of 2010. Your vehicle was built in May, so it does not have them.

Thanks Deysha. Do you happen to have the P/N for those sound insulators?

Many Thanks,

No, LEXiiON. However, you can contact your parts department at your Ford Dealer and they can work with you on getting it.
