2011 cd player issue

So today I went to load a cd in the player and it didn't pull the cd in all the way, so I pulled the cd out. Now the player is reading "slot full" but their is nothing in the player. Any ideas on how to fix this? Ford said they would have to replace the unit.

If they'll replace it, why not let them do it? Or are you out of warranty?

Just get a shiny new headunit, a fix may only be temporary anyway!

Turn the car off and unit. Restart the car and turn on unit. Put the cd back in. presto.

You pulled it out too early. (that sounded bad.) lol

Yea tried that first and had the car off for an hour, but I figured it out. If this happenes you need to hit the eject button and push a cd halfway in. It will then eject it like there is one I there already.
