Vinyl wrapping chrome trim

Has anyone wrapped their chrome trim with vinyl? Would love to see some pics if you have. I'm talking mostly the interior bits - the bezels surround the shifter, gauges and vents for the most part. Might also do any chrome bits on the exterior as well.

Leaning towards a good carbon fiber vinyl right now, something that looks good and not like it came out of a consumer grade printer. Maybe a semi gloss black if the CF doesn't look too good.

Thoughts? Any help/tips to remove the bezels? My primary question is how many pieces of vinyl to use for each trim piece. Is it best to use a single piece of vinyl for something like the shifter bezel, or can it be done with multiple pieces (so there isn't so much waste) and have it still look good?

Have you thought about hydrodipping? I would think vinyl would be a pain to get smooth on those small pieces. I want to hydrodip a few things on my cars, the chrome in the interior would be on that list, I hate the reflections I get sometimes.

There is a shop that does hydrodipping right down the street...
