Subwoofer Outputs on Navigation System

Howdy everyone. Just recently ordered a 2014 GT Premium SGM Track Pack with the navigation screen. I have seen several posts, including the tutorial from the EvilCartman website (http://www.evilcartman.com/shaker-50...b-install.html). But I had several questions.
  1. Is there any way I can run a signal input from the factory navigation screen/unit to my subwoofer's amp? Or is the only way to get a signal input using either a Hi/Low connector from one of the speakers or line converter from the factory door amps? Does anyone have a picture of the back side of the navigation unit?
  2. I have seen lots of discussion on the JL Stealthbox, and while I do like it, I currently already own a 12" JL 12W3V3-4 powered by a JL Slash 500/1v2. Are there any other subwoofer enclosures that have similar build quality and fit in the area of the wheel well? For instance, is this MTX any good (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_236MUSB...Enclosure.html)? Any pictures or recommendations?
I would perfer to buy a nice enclosure already made, but it seems that fabricating my own will be the only way to get what I am looking for. If any of y'all have seen any pics or gone down the same path and have anything to share please let me know.

Thanks,
GTSPE4
