Replacing rattling door speakers on Shaker 500

Just purchased it a month ago and today it seems to have gotten worse. I've heard replacing the entire sound system is expensive but could I just replace the 2 front speakers to get rid of this rattling?

Yes. People do it all the time. There must be 3,000 threads on this subject. You'll want 6x8 speakers. The door panels are pretty easy to remove. I think it's 3 screws.

Stock speakers are pretty close to crap anyway. Might as well replace the rears while your at it. Cleans up the sound considerably.

If you're talking about the speakers up top in the doors, they are 6x8", the speakers in the bottom of the door are 8" subwoofers

I have been fighting rattles in my 2012 since I bought it a year ago. I had previously replaced the front with Pioneers. While they sounded better, still had rattles. I replaced the rears last weekend with the same Pioneers. While I had the seat and rear panels out, I put down some Dynamat in seat pan, fender wells, side panels, rear deck, and in the trunk. I covered of 60% of the surface areas, mostly where the sheet metal sounded tinny and thin. Immediately noticed a reduction of cabin noise and reduced drone from exhaust. This weekend, I removed door panels and moisture barrier, then covered the doors with Dynamat. That did it. All rattles and buzzing is gone. Shaker sound is clear. Doors sound more solid, noticeable when I the doors close. I spent about $250.00 on the Dynamat and it was worth every penny.
