My next retrofit project is the outside door mirrors. I want the heated mirrors with pony lights.

I have seen mention of mirrors that also have a camera. They are refernced, but I see nothing in blow up diagrams. What is that about? Anyone able to tell me? Pics?

 

Mine have the projector and are heated. I do believe for the 2013 that was all that was offered in the Comfort package. Never heard of a Camera in them though.

Maybe they mean the projector lights.

 

I wonder if they are calling the Pony Projector a camera???

 

Never heard of a door mirror with a camera. What purpose would it serve? It's gotta be referencing the pony lights. You can't get a Mustang with 'cameras' in mirrors.

If they made a kit that would replace the mirrors with cameras and show then on lil lcd screens inside the door... That. Would. Be... Idk lol

I assumed it might be a camera to show the blind spot on the nav screen.

 

I looked at Fordparts.com and there is no camera, although the lens for the Pony Projector is about the size of the Camera lens on the Spoiler.

 

maybe that is if the car has a camera, not the mirror. maybe the harness is slightly different, though I wouldn't know why.

 

I can't find anything either. You guys are right - it is just the pony projectors.
