Premium Instruments Cluster and Steering Wheel to a Base 2010 Mustang V6 Convertible

Hello there,
I am new to the forum, and to tell you the trufh, also to "modding" cars :-)
I have seeen some threads in here to talk about my problem, but as i am a newbie i am not able to undestand, there i tried to again. Sorry for beeing a newbie.

I have a 2010 Base V6 Mustang Convertible (Sunset Gold, still my DREAMCAR). But i would LOVE to have "Mycolor" for the Instrument Cluster. I donīt care about the Ambient Light for the rest of the Car.

As far as i read in hear, i can use any (?) 2010-2014 Premium Instrument Cluster in my Base model but
* A dealer needs to reprogramm something so the cards starts
* someone has to reprogramm the cluster so the orginal Milage of my car is displayed in the new Cluster

To these two: Can a normal Ford Mustang dealer do this?

And then: As my Base Mustang hast a Steering Wheel with only Cruise control and nothing else, i would need something to control the Cluster, right? What do I need there?

Thank you so much for your answer!
Maria

Hello,

I actually Did the First Cluster Swap for the 05-09 Mustang and you can check out the Process on the Link Provided. The 2010-2014 is a Different Animal though. I'm Sorry I left the Mustang Retrofit world as it is Back in 2010 so I did not work on those. I was all about the Retrofit in the Day! Lets see if Anybody has some info on your car but for the present you might give the old Topic a Read!
