Phone only partially connects!?!?
Phone only partially connects!?!?
So my android has worked pretty flawlessly for 6 months. A few days ago it quit connecting when I entered the car and I would have manually link it up. Yesterday, it wouldn't completely sync AS A PHONE no matter what. The odd thing is that it would still connect as a media player, i could play pandora, I heart radio.... but it won't connect as a phone. World Trade Federation (w.t.f.) batman. Anyone have and or solve this problem. I'm open to advice.
Thanks
Thanks
I did what was suggested above and it was a no go. I followed it with the mandatory hard reboot of the phone TWICE. Number 2 was the answer. The issue appears to be more phone problem than Sync problem. THANKS for taking the time to give me some options.
I was having a problem with SYNC and my Samsung for the longest time. It would hook up and work excellent in the driveway, but start driving down the road and it would disconnect.
I was complaining about the battery life to my brother and he told me if I wanted to really extend my battery life, turn off the wi-fi. I did so and guess what, it cured my disconnect in SYNC. I think what was happening is somehow when I lost wi-fi by leaving home, it would mess up the bluetooth as well. That's the only thing I can figure.
Whether it would help with other phones is anyone's guess, just thought I'd throw it out there. Can't hurt to try!

Only some phones work with sync for Texts, its very limited. Its not OS based. Theres a list on the Syncmyride website.
and I was just saying that it doesn't work with all phones.
So attempting to say that the iPhone is the only phone that wont do text with Sync isnt much of an argument against it since its not the only one.
