MyColor "On" During the Day - Workaround?

Is there a workaround (other than physically covering the daylight sensor), to get the MyColor dash gauge lights to stay on during the day (daylight)? In my '05 GT you could do this simply by turning on the lights (P or On). In my '12, the only time they come on is when the sensor at the bottom center of the windshield senses it's dark. I want the MyColor on all the time. Anyone know of a mod to do this? Thanks!

Yea, the only way to do it would be to cover the sensor or possibly disconnect it. I have considered covering mine as I prefer the blue gauges to white and I usually run with P/fogs on anyways.

Hey NickDC123,

I checked on this for you and the only thing you can do is cover the sensor, sorry.

Thanks everyone ... I may try this. The only think act covering the sensor is then the nab is constantly in night mode as well. I'll have to think about wether I want to do that. Cheers, everyone!

I sometimes throw my cap over that sensor. I too like my blue better than the white. Only thing against that is when it dims the lights on my radio & stuff. That keeps me from doing it is the dimming of my lights.

You can force the display to stay in "Day" mode via the setup menu. I'm not sure that the brightness will stay the same, but it'll still be white in the day vs. black.
