Snagged a set of illuminated doorsills for my base 12 droptop. Can anyone that has completed this switchout tell me if there is a plug or hotwire under the non illuminated sills, or do I need to go to the wire behind the jamb plunger that controls entry lighting? Thanks.

Kudos to all you guys who post your installations!! Due to your shared expertise, I installed lighted doorsills And auto headlight switch today in less than 2 hours start to finish, without screwing up once Elmo, if you're still on here, I found your tutorial thru Google; and man, it's the greatest; and to the guy in S Korea who pointed out that one of our more popular vendors had the wrong wiring instructions, Thanks a million.
