Jump a fuse location?
Hello, I am looking at adding a jump a fuse to my car to power a relay on and off with the key. Should be minimal power draw. Which fuse do you guys use for your projects?
Looking at installing a dash camera and a low power inverter that will be wired to battery going through a relay to control power with the key switch. Probably going to use 12 gauge wire with a 40amp relay and a 30amp inline fuse to the battery. Not big power mind you. I will be drawing about 155w at peak. With room to grow into the 200w category depending on what I need next.
Any ideas on a proper fuse I can use that is key switched, meaning it will stay on temporarily until door opened or the key is in the ignition or engine running.
