JBL GTO 8629 any good?
My passenger door side Pioneer TS-D6802R has blown . I've been thinking of replacing my door speakers with JBL GTO 8629. Do you think these are good speakers? Will they sound as good or better than the Pioneer's i have? I don't know too much about speakers. I have the Shaker 500.

I installed the JBL GTO 8629 speakers in my doors. I still have the Pioneer TS-D6802R speakers in the rear. The JBL's have a lot more high sounds, which is good with my old age and can't hear high notes as good. I turned the bass three more clicks more, sounds nice and clear.
I won't say the JBL's are better than the Pioneer's but they sound more to my liking because of my hearing lose of high sounds.
I thought i would let you all know
