Iphone car holder
Anyone use or know of a decent iPhone car holder? I don't like the ones that suction to the window. I've seen some held in by cd slot and some by air vent but I'm not sure how well they hold during a ride however I think one of those would he best most likely. If anyone can suggest one I'd appreciate it.

I have a proclip. Vent mounted.
Very sturdy and keeps the phone steady even during enthusiastic driving. I'd recommend - little pricey but I too was tired of suction cups or cig lighter mounts and this solution works perfectly.

I have a scosche that holds onto the vent. For 20 bucks it does it's job and I've had it for quite awhile now. Just gotta be a bit gentle when pushing in the sides. That's all. I'm not a big fan of the window mounts myself

+10 on ProClip
I Frankensteined together a dash mount using a GPS mount and it worked decent unless I stomped on the gas, in which case I had to be prepared to catch said mount. The ProClip is costy, but it's worth every penny to me.
The only con I have is how the two pieces join is via a small screw which seems to loosen over time. I think I'm going to get it set how I like it and Gorilla Glue it together, that should keep everything nice and snug.
I bought the following pieces for my 2010:
- ProClip Center Mount, 2010-2013 Ford Mustang - Item #854365
- Charging Holder with Tilt Swivel & Adapter for Samsung Galaxy S III - Item #512398
