Have you ever noticed this about your gauges?

The other night I got really low on gas. The needles on the gauges lit up a bright red. When I thought about it I like it much better than when I have gas in the car. Is there anyway to get the needles on the gauges to light up bright all the time? .... Besides driving around really low on gas. :-)

I'm sure you could drive around low on oil or coolant.

I've heard others talk about this but mine does not change to red at any time. I would like it to do so. Is this a setting or something that I can change?

This isn't in the 2013 manual. Says *if the headlights are on* the gauge backlight will change to red for a warning condition. That's all, regardless of gauge type (standard or premium). Nothing about the pointers changing color. Sounds cool though, guess they changed it.
