Hello

Just got my 12 gt with prem trim, I have 3 buttons in the visor,

Does any one know how to use or sync the frequency with my gate remote,my friend did the same in his 12 camaro, he said he did a press and hold on visor button and his gate remote at the same time and he saw LEDs on the visor blinking after sync and it worked for him

It is designed for garage door openers. open your user manual for your car and for your gate to figure out how the systems work.

if you can add more openers to the gate, then you can use the visor opener.

Its actually for both. He just needs to find out what kind of code opens his gate (rolling or fixed code). The manual will explain how to enter it.

Hi my gate remote does not have any 3 way switches when I open the battery cover, it's a single button remote, it should be rolling code type, can some one tell me the process to match the code

Open your user manual and read how to do it. It's not that hard at all.

Congrats on your new ride again, sai! You can find all of the info in your Owner’s Guide, like Lewis26 and 11SHELBYGT500 mentioned. Select your year, make, and model, then select Owner Guide 2nd Printing and go to page 82. This should guide you through it.

Home made homelink

This is a little different take on installing the homelink. Instead of using the home link module I just used my existing remote and installed 2 momentary switches soldered to it. Total cost was 4.00 for the switches and wire. Time about 30 minutes. I just place the remote in were the dome light is. It also has great reception since it is mounted high.
