I've had the car 5 days. Just received my iSimple Gateway today and installed it along with my Sirius SCC1 tuner, which I have a lifetime subscription on, and why I didn't go factory sirius.

I can confirm that on a base 2013 GT with Sync, that the iSimple ISFD571 does indeed work and not interfere with sync at all.


Also, I ordered a pair of Brembo calipers from my dealership today to do that conversion in the next couple weeks after I gather up some more parts.

 

Any advantage to using the iSimple gateway over Sync for iOS devices, or is this mostly for Sirius?

I really like Sirius in my wife's Flex EB but it wasn't worth the thousands to step up to Premium on the Mustang.

 

really just for sirius. I haven't figured out or even played with the ipod part of it, nor will I probably. I just used that part for charging my phone in my last car. If I want to play the ipod, sync works great.
