http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-2013-FORD-MUSTANG-10-KICKER-CVT10-CUSTOM-FIT-SUBWOOFER-SUB-BOX-DX500-1-AMP-/310654751694?pt=US_Speaker_Sub_Enclosures&hash=item48547753ce&vxp=mtr
Or should I hold out and get better subs and amp?

I think it's a pretty good deal. You would need a high to low converter to get the signal to the amp. I'm not a big fan if refurbished. They tend to be a hit or miss proposition on reliability. Most packages are about price point and average performance. Your goals could change my answer. What is your system goal?

I've had pretty good results with Kicker amps. I have never used their subs. The Type R's are pretty sweet and can take a serious beating.

They sell the box for $78 with free shipping. They will work with all types of shallower subs. I am more hooked in with the price. $329 to get some subs setup is pretty good, especially with some name brand stuff, not Pyle or Xplodes or some other garbage.

Kicker is probably the best value amp you can buy. It outplays amps that cost twice as much. Good choice.

One again on amp ill have to chose alpine... Or Rockford fosgate, but that's just me.

Next nasty amp I pick up will be a

Alpine pdx f4- 4 Chanel amp that puts out 100 watts per Chanel, plus they are real compact which makes them easy to mount, and I know the pdx1.1000 series are stackable!

Alpine has always been a top brand in my game and ever since I had put only a pair of alpine spr60c as my front speakers in my truck.... WOW ... Talk about sound quality and being able to crank it ! Just before that y dad dropped like $800 on some Boston spz speakers( we're suppost To be the best of the best( well he thought mine was louder!

-wrong amp won't make any speaker or sub play as it should, therefore I've only put in the beat of the best in my system.

It's a decent deal, and I have bought from Hifisoundconnection before and never had any issues.
