Just want an opinion: Is this TOO much blue for the interior?

 

I think you can get away with those kind of cosmentic mods with in-your-face colors like GB and GHIG.

IMO the door speaker surrounds and vents are a bit much, and a black or white shift **** tone might it down a bit, but I like everything else.

I like everything but the center console, I think that's too much.

 

I have the same interior and have considered everything you've done, but haven't changed anything yet other than a shift ****. Now that I see it all for real, I like the dash/radio bezel-thing in gb, but honestly am not a fan on the rest. I appreciate the effort and everything looks pro, but I think I just prefer the stock look. And I'm not a fan of a lot of chrome or bright metals, so not sure what else would look better, but I also now think the door vents in chrome or something polished like that that matches would look better than stock. Weird.

 

I agree with all of the comments. A "flashy" colour like GB or GHIG can definitely make something like this easy to pull-off.
I was never a fan of the billet interior until
I saw it recently on a mustang.
The vents in the door as well as the area around the E-brake and shifter are painted, the rest is vinyl.

I maybe do the E-brake area in gloss black?
I just wanted a "custom" look to the interior, without it being TOO much.
Sort of like when you buy a truck and they have the wood grain dash.

It's not for everyone, but I'm used to the blue now. I get tons of compliments on my steering wheel, but I think the rest is a little much.

 

Yes, I think the key is accent. Since the console is a major component I think that's the part that makes it really over the top. I think the steering wheel is next.

If you don't like chrome, the chrome accents are a good place for color. Maybe leave the black and charcoal stuff OEM and consider the chrome pieces only. If that isn't enough, maybe the e-brake, shift boot, floor mats (thread color), etc. I know it's more money but it'd look more tasteful I think.
