arm rest mod

arm rest mod

Just fabricated a arm rest pad .the one that ford forgot .
yeah it may not be much but me and my wife ,love it
keeps the compartment from opening with my elbow as well. lol

Customized the Bottom to hold the pad in place using the slot between compartment pulls out and no modification to console
anyway .love the car .Great forum

Just wondering anybody else come up with something comfortable

Interesting. I haven't seen that before. How did you make that?

I modified a arm pad replacement from another car .had to remove the original hinge .I cut a piece of lexan same width as the lower part of the cavity of compartment latch area so it would stay in place . It lays flat and doesn't move.great on the elbow .Pulls straight up to remove .

I made some extras and sent a email to American muscle to see if they were interested and no response . So I listed the extra ones on ebay .

I like it !.iwould have tried it but I got mine little more forward where my elbow sits .just my 2 cents

I installed this from redline goods. My elbow sits back further so it's perfect for me and the suede is nice and soft. Glad you're happy with yours.

I like your armrest mod. saw it last night on ebay.

I simply took some black suede and wrapped the cupholder door. no padding or anything, but it made a heck of an improvement for me.

That looks really nice. Could you take a picture with a little more light? I'm having trouble seeing it.
