Anyone have the Lloyd LUXE mat for '11 or '12?
Anyone have the Lloyd LUXE mat for '11 or '12?
These are the extra thick top-of-the-line mat. I am curious how they look given that they apparently do not run up the firewall (just like the OEM mats). I had planned to order them but double checked with LLoyds directly and they confirmed the short length. Trying to envision how a really thick carpet looks just covering the floor space. Any pics would be appreciated. Thanks.
They go up the firewall. They fit nice and snug so they don't move around at all. They also have an extension that velcroes to the dead pedal and they use the factory retaining points.

I'm having that problem with my LLoyd mats (the deep pyle GT500 mats) , they seem to be wearing faster than the factory stuff.

I made the plastic cover myself... via Lowe's and a box cutter and tracing. I wanted the 5.0 to be visible, yet protected. Yes I know I am pathetic....
I thought so too.

I KNEW you were going to ask that....
my buddies give me grief about the plastic mats on TOP of my lloyd's mats. haha. Just me I guess... I hate getting anything on my car dirty
As far as furniture, luckily I have a 3 year old boy, so I don't care much (anymore) about the state of our furniture. There's stains/cheerios etc all over.... so no, no plastic wrap

One could argue then why bother with the Lloyd's mats if you're gonna cover it up anyways/not visible....hence why I went with plastic cover for see through, but now I'm being cold grampa
can't win... hehe
Part of the answer on the Lloyd mats shedding and wearing at the heel probably has to do with what type of mat they are. I spoke with Lloyd's and the mats that most people buy with the logo already on them in thier lower quality mats. The fact that they sell for less than $100 and have the logo is the key. Their top of the line mat, without a logo, is $200.00. So unless someone custom ordered the Ultimats or the Luxe mats with the logo, my guess is that the mats being referenced are the base mat sold through most of the online stores where you see the logos on the mats in their online catalogues. Just my guess. But that is why I was asking of anyone had the Luxe or even Ultimats, and if they were showing any wear. I would hate to pay $200 for mats have any wear begin to show. Thanks for everyone's help.
