I'd install it in a heartbeat if I thought I could still get an inspection sticker in the People's Republic of Massachusetts but I can't imagine they'd "approve" the change in this cesspool of a State.

If your car is registered, what's the problem? The Mazda Miata is a two-seater...

Because Racecar. I would have the bar color changed to match the car though like in the LS.

Eh, for that price you could get a bolt in cage for about the same or less and it would stiffen the chassis more. I would have said Cool Tech makes a sweet looking cage but currently their site doesn't have anything Boss related anymore.

Why do you say that when the Laguna Seca is sold in Mass. with no problems ?

No where does it say you have to have a rear seat...

Don't buy it for this reason...the rear seat backs and bottom cushion weight about 20 pounds total. However you will save more on weight reduction, as you'll never have any rear seat passengers.

I bought a much cheaper rear seat delete; ended up using it as a template to build a sturdier one out of 1/2 inch plywood, some foam, and nice black cover material.

I love it but not $1200.00, if it was $400.00-500.00 it be im my car already.
Seriously it's an x brace and some carpet, doesn't = $1200.00.

It wont save weight, and I was going to say Cool Tech, but I don't understand why they don't have Boss stuff anymore?? Wondering what's going on there.

Pass. Unless it saved a significant amount of weight, I wouldn't even consider sacrificing the ability to haul long items.

All the more reason to just get a cage.

I wouldn't put a halo in a street car either. My car is a daily driver.

If you install the rear seat delete in a regular gt you will remove the two rear seat belts. No way will they pass inspection. Like I say, I'd have already done it if it were possible.

Seems a little silly since the LS probably starts with seat belts that get removed. Plus no one can sit in the back if there are no back seats.

No need for rear seat belts if there is no rear seats, ala the Laguna Seca.

looks awesome and it would match my SGM '14 gt perfect .. not for 1200 though. I would think of alot of better ways to spend 1200 or put it towards something more worthwhile in my option, LT headers/tune etc...

Ya know, that is my feeling exactly. For $500.00 this would be my next mod but for $1200.00 I'll keep looking for something else.

I'd love to do it. I have had the car for almost a year and I have not had one single passenger in the rear seats. Not one (I wouldn't want to ride back there). I'd like to do it and have a little more room back there for groceries, get rid of those cheesy flip-down rear head rests, stiffen up the ride a bit and have a professional looking upholestry covering...but not for $1200.00.

And I am also thinking headers and a tune will be up next!
