I've done a few things to my base model 2013 GT as far as Audio upgrades: added a bluetooth setup that uses the Sirius button to activate it to stock radio, then changed to a Nexus 7 tablet, then an Alpine ILX-007 CarPlay headunit and now finally have a radio I'll keep for a while!

Here's my custom build/install of an Alpine x009u.
I still have a few blemishes to fix up on the bezel, and need to add the wireless charging capability so when i drop the phone into the pocket, it will charge.

Very nice radio. Did you tweak the mus1 because the one you mention does not fit that size radio.
