Aftermarket Alarm suggestions
Aftermarket Alarm suggestions
As annoying as they are I think I'd like to put an alarm in my 2012. Even though it's just a premium...it'll still be flashy..
Can anyone make any specific suggestions for around? Budget is $200-$500 Viper?
I didn't want to get the security package....probably should have...but for the $550 i think I can get a better alarm and wheel locks, ...don't know if i really need a rear sensor yet but they seem inexpensive.

The factory alarm is for wimps. This is the system to go with:

Bump for serious replies--BOSS owners don't have the option for the factory AAT system.
What is everyone using from the aftermarket?

I friend of my has the karr system plus mobile guardian. Its on a jeep but I'm sure it works with any other make. Its a little pricey but has awesome features, web viewing capability, remote kill, location history, speed trap(kills it), and I think even remote unlock. Its around $1200 though. And I don't think that is with labor.

Good lord that is expensive
Looks like my dealer offers a number of Viper systems in addition to the Ford Accessory ones. They even offer this "Smart Start" system that is activated via smartphone instead of an extra keyfob. The downside is you have to get out your phone every time in/out of the car. This has GPS tracking of the vehicle and alarm functions for $600.
Also, if the phone dies...
