What(if at all) would I need to make the swap. I LOVE the clusters lighting and wouldnt mind it. One option I thought was stupid when I ordered the car

 

There's a light kit under the interior mustang section. Not sure if it's the same.

Very tough to do. Cluster, harness maybe . . . not worth it.

 

I'm working on it... I did a temp swap, everything will work; you just need PATS to be reprogrammed on the cluster as well as mileage adjust.

However, I'm in search of a wiring diagram for the headlamp switch assy that controls the info display.

My iPhone bricked itself so I lost all those pictures...

Best bet is to find a wrecked car with the Mycolor or find a cluster on eBay with MyColor. Still have to take the car to the dealer to be reprogrammed though. Not sure about different harness though. I think that comes into play more for the cup holder and door / footwell lights

 

I am very interested in this. I am hoping the base wiring harness in the back of the dash is universal, with different options pulled into various places. Thinking I would have to go with the Shelby cluster with MyColor, change the door panels, different cupholder and sill plates.

Still no idea if I can get the to work. This, the ambient lighting, and stereo upgrade are the main interior mods I want to change.

 

I am almost certain that the wiring is not there for the mycolor cluster. There will not be the wires going from the cluster to the message center. But that can be easy to do without changing the harness.

When I retrofitted navigation into my car, I also had to get a different dash harness.

When I put in the 2013 cluster with the LCD screen and digital guages, I didn't change the harness, and just wired up the new info switch myself.

 

I may have a cluster to sell that I took out of my 2012, if interested. I replaced it with the 2013 digital cluster.
