2014 shaker 500 crossover?

Hey folks,
Does anyone know what the door subs crossover at on the new stereos?
I'm just gathering info at this point to figure out what I want to do with it and how far into it I am willing to go.
thx,
Derek

I am not sure of the exact point, but they are really more for midbass (at best) than actual subs.

I would not recommend using them as any part of a sound system upgrade, they are not great subs and for the money you can find much better out there. If you just have them lying around though, you could use them for mid-bass drivers.

Judging by the question, I'm guessing that you are not installing this system yourself. What are you looking to do? We could probably give you a few different options to kick around.

No, I was asking about the electronics x-over knee. I'd like to replace the drivers and keep the HU/amps. I'm looking for more detail and dynamics with less distortion. I don't NEED a subwoofer. I really don't want to make a large project of it and would prefer to farm it out, but may end up doing it myself if I have to. Trying to figure how simple can I keep it at this point or will I have to buy amps, etc to get the minimum of what I want. Thanks for responding.

This thread may help as far as choosing 8" drivers in the doors: https://themustangsource.com/f803/fr...r-info-515348/

Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
