In some of the 2013 Documentation it was mentioned that the SYNC MIC was moved off the mirror and into the Headliner.

Can a 2013 owner verify this? The Mic in my car sucks .. I have to talk very loud for anyone to hear me.

 

I believe it is. I cannot confirm for a coupe. I can confirm that on a convertible it is in the dome light area. Right near the convertible up/down button.
