I bought my first component for my audio build today. Went over to my old forum, caraudio.com/forum, to peruse the classifieds. Found a guy selling a pair of Hertz High Energy HV 200 8" mids for $150. He happened to be in central CA, asked him to meet me halfway to save shipping. He just happened to be coming up my way, today, so we met at the mall and now I have new 8s lol. I haven't installed yet, as I want to address the speakers and sound deadening first, not to mention I don't know if I'll have 3.5" of depth to work with, but either way I'll make them work. I can't wait to get them hooked up! These are very rare drivers. I don't ever remember them being available. When I was working at the shop, we never used them, so I think I scored some gems!
