There's one way to make it work.

I've pulled the bezel already to install a Roush gauge pod. It come out exactly like my 2006. I had put s GT500 cluster in my 2006 Mustang too.

It won't work with the super-shaker? Different sensor I guess?

From prior research on the 2006 the boost feature is only in the GT500 PCM and the data is transmitted on the CANBUS.

Hate the font on the Stock GT that GT500 dash is the best looking one of the bunch in my opinion. I was hoping to hear there was a way of getting the boost gauge to work, darn.

You can forget about the Roush unless you find a used one. I send them an email asking if/when it will be out and this is the reply I got: "Unfortunately the gauges from the production vehicle will not be offered retail."

A new GT500 cluster is about $450 from Ford so I'd guess the Boss should be similar when it is available.

I'm also not a fan of the gauge font and number orientation. I don't need gauges that look retro, I want something easy to read. The GT500/BOSS gauges look real nice.

I have a stupid question, is this plug and Go or does it have to be reprogramed after the swap like the F150 had to be when you went to the Lightning Gauges?

It should be plug and play. I had to get the Gt500 cluster in my 2006 programmed because my V6 did not have side air bags or ABS and the GT500 did. I'll know for sure tomorrow when I plug in.

This is one of the first mods I would make as well. I really dislike the stock gauges.

The F150 had part of the PATS in the Cluster, so I will wait to see if it is Plug and play tomorrow

Doesn't the dealer have to program your mileage into the new cluster?

I was wondering about this as well. Is the odometer information stored in the computer or in the gauge cluster? Surely it's in the computer for if the cluster needs to be replaced after a wreck or something of that sort.

It's in the cluster. When a dealer orders a replacement cluster they have to order it preprogrammed with the correct mileage.

The Same problem we had with the Cluster in the F150 when I wanted to change to the SVT Lightning Cluster.
