15 cluster
Has anyone looked to see if it's possible to port this to the 10-14 yet. I'm also wondering about the steering wheel. I know one of you genius' will do it.

There is no guarantee that it would even fit. And the cluster is likely expecting different signals than what the PCM is sending. I am certain it is not plug and play, and would require much more than what was done to get the 13/14 into the 10-12 cars. Not something I am willing to tackle. The 13/14 cluster is cool enough for me.
As for the wheel, to my understanding, the 2015 wheel will fit, and so will the new airbag - but not 100% since I nor the tech I talk to have physically tried this.
Very likely the paddle shifters will work if you wire them directly to the wires from the sport shifter. The buttons, on the other hand? There is a chance that they will work, and here is my reasoning:
Cruise - has all the same functions as the 13/14. on/off is a single push button, and so is cancel/resume, just as on the 13/14 cars. I figure that they will have the same resistance values.
D-pad - not sure why anything would be changed here either.
Sync, volume up and down and tuning back and forth are all there. Again, don't see why values would have changed.
Phone call and hang up is a single push button on the 13/14 but separate buttons on the 15. This won't work right on our cars for sure.
However, mute is new, and so is the 'M' (memory?). These will not be functional or activate something else not related.
If someone went this route, the clock spring connectors probably will be different, so you would need to rewire using the old connector. But this also has an issue, as the old connector doesn't have enough slots to accomodate the wires for the shifters.

From what I know/understand it would not be that hard. The issue would be getting it to physically fit.
The technology inside didn't change much and shares some (if not most) of the same data streams as the 13/14 clusters do.

is the mykey/keyless start info saved in the cluster? That may become an issue, unless you are able to port that over. If it can be done, then the mytouch system my be able to be retro fitted. There really isn't much difference in the hard wear aspect of my touch and what we have now. The only real issue is the center stack. Some would have to make a new bevel to house the screen.
