Xpel Paint Protection Film

Hey everyone,
I have been looking into getting paint protection film for the front end of my mustang. I have been quoted $675 by an installer for xpel ultimate film to do the front end of car which is 18 inches up the hood. Just wanted to get some feed back on the product and the price. Is anyone running this stuff on their stings??

I have the xpel film on the front bumper of my Boss 302. I didn't do the hood because of the reflective stripes. I think I paid $400 for the bumper and the mirrors. After talking with a local company and doing some research I felt pretty good about going with the xpel. The installer also told me to wax or polish it just like the rest of the car and it would be good to go. He said the older films you could not do that with, but with this film you can and it helps protect it.

Mine has 3M film and the film was custom fit; half the edges were wrapped around to lessen visible seam. I removed the grill and side markers to allow the installer better access to the covered area. The film goes around the hood stripe and was cut on the car.

$675 is on the high end for a pre-cut kit but inexpensive for custom fit. Mine cost quite a bit more commensurate to more coverage.

Yeah it's a custom job, so I take it 675 is not too much. Thanks for the info, just wanted to get some feed back on the price.
