I really have been wondering how those wheels would look on my car. Looking forward to the thread though. Build threads are the best!

It was the ones I chose or the Shelby wheels. I really could've been happy with either I think

Looking forward to hearing about the header install! I've been thinking about some shorty headers for my 5.0.

Go Longtube! The factory shorties are decent enough

Long tubes are the best, no doubt. What are your plans for the rest of the exhaust system? Can you get away with going cat-less where you live? I put the Roush axle backs mufflers on my GT, they are significantly louder than stock! I set off a car alarm in a parking lot last weekend driving by. LOL.

Lol after extensive exhaust research, I pulled the gun on the Stainless Works full exhaust. 1 7/8s LT headers, catted x-pipe, and cat-back. I started with the cat-back first, and it sounds flawless and very loud. People with other exhaust systems ask me what exhaust I have. Its basically straight pipe, but its retro chambered and doesn't have any popping when you let off.

Well... Didn't realize that +35 offset was the smallest you can go without your tires being outside the fenders.. The ones I bought were +15 offset and hang way out.. Now I'm back to deciding on new wheels. I really like the black spokes with chrome/machined lip.

I'm leaning towards these 3, but I'm open to suggestions

Maybe this pic can help you decide. My wheels are similar to the wheels you have on the right except without the rivets.

Yes! Everyone raves about borla or roush... I say stainless works FTW. Love your car. I could have gone with graver blue.

Thanks again for the compliment.

I was at a car show awhile back and had someone tell me they loved the sound of my exhaust over the car that was parked next to me that had GT500 exhaust.

I listened to numerous exhaust clips when i was in the market for exhaust and found the SW to be the best sounding by far.

I think I may go chrome! I've been fighting it for so long, but you can't deny that chrome on white is very sharp.

I was looking at the Shelby CS70 wheels in gunmetal before buying the American Racing Nova wheels for my car. The Boss 338's are also a nice wheel. There are pics of cars with the CS70's and the Boss 338's in this forum.

Boss 338's, scroll down this page

Those are nice. I'm leaning towards a deep dish Cobra R or a Saleen 5 spoke.
