Show me your Bullitts/Torq Thrusts! (20" plz)

Hey so... I'm getting antsy to get my TTM's on my car, and since I haven't mounted tires yet, I'm still not 100% sure they are the wheels I want to use in the end...

So I'm requesting that the awesome people of TMS post up pics of 05+ cars with Bullitt/Torq Thrust M/Boss 338's. Preferably 20". Thank you!

I don't think there's any '10+ cars on here with 20" Bullitt/TTMs...18s yeah, but I don't think anyone has 20s. There were a couple of guys who ran the 338s, but I don't have any pics on my phone, so useless post is useless

Love the 338s. Too bad they don't clear the Brembos!

Exactly why I started this thread. I can't find any pics of anyone that has a 05+ Mustang much less a 10+ that is running the AR/Shelby Torq Thrust M in 20". I know from pictures that they don't look exactly the same as everyone's bullitt knockoffs.

Well, they're TTMs on a Mustang. They're definitely not going to look bad. You already have em. I say throw some tires on, mount em up and see if you like them. If you don't, pull em off and sell. You've already got a pretty retro theme going, so I think they'll really compliment your car and (obviously since we can't find pics) be pretty unique. You can honestly say you're the only one with a '13 GB vert, with white stripes and TTMs. I like being 1/1 on the road.

Danielle.........the Torq Thrusts will look perfect on your car. I find it strange you don't see many on the 2010+..........perhaps they were a little overplayed on the 2005-2009, but they are still one of my favourite wheel designs. I ummmed and arrrrhed for weeks before buying my wheels a few years back. I was set on Torq Thrusts but eventually went for the Shelby Razors. Whilst I'm still happy with my choice, I know I'd have been just as happy with the TTs.

Here's a few piccies I've got of Boss 338s and TTs

I knew TT would come through, and I had a few of those in mind, but the stupid TMS app can't upload directly from my mind yet!

Gah the grey boss wheels look so fantastic.

Danielle why don't you just put the wheels on one side of the car and see how you like them? Can't be too bad to jack it up and throw the wheels on really quick

The wheels on the first picture look Badass, dont really care for the others but only because I dont like the lip, to me it just doesnt look right. And thats only my opinion.
Even tho the 1st picture has the polished lip as well it doesnt stand out against the grey paint as much as black does for some reason.

These are the factory 18's. Love 'em.
I know a lot of people like 20's these days but to me they are out of balance with too much wheel and not enough rubber. Too ghetto. IMO

I personally loved the bullitt torque thrust lips. To me, it screams classic and what originally drew me to mustangs.

However, all these "home boys" slapping similar styles on their Camaros, Pontiac's, and ghetto stangs...

My opinion of them flip flops every day and I own a summer set!

I have the anthracite wheels.
They'd already be on, except I'm a contractor out here in DC in the IT field, and my assignment after my last ended, and what i had lined up afterwards fell through, so essentially the last 7 weeks I've been without me bringing in an income, so the fun stopped. That's why I don't have the new wheels/tires on the car. I wasn't going to be ghetto on this at all, and was specifically looking at tires a hair taller than the stock 27" or as close to so it wouldn't be ghetto. Tires I've found that work with what I want are Toyo Proxes 4 Plus. 255/35R20 up front and a big 295/30R20 in back. both are 27.1" just a hair taller than stock.

If I could find like a 295/35, I would have then run a 275/35 up front for more tire/rim protection, and to keep it from being Ghetto.

I also understand the view that 18's are perfect, I loved that look. But my car is equipped with 19's stock. I like how they look, and I think they looked great before I had the car striped. Ford some reason I am not in love with how they fit the car's look now. Which is odd because they are my favorite stock wheels with what comes on the car currently, other than the *base* GT500 wheels.

Another thing that surprises me. These clear Brembos... Why have I never seen these wheels on a GT500 at all?

I just bought Black TT Ms for mine. 20"x8.5"/10". Should be here on the 3rd.

I had to call American Racing to confirm they fit the Brembo Cars. The 8.5" wheels that fit have a +32 offset with "SS" in the part number. The SS is in the number due to they were designed for the SS Camaro and their brakes.

I like the first three pics, and don't really care for any of the rest. It's really hit or miss with these. What finish are you thinking about going with?

Looks great!

Speaking of wheels. Anyone know if a set of 18's will fit on the stock brakes on a 2013 GT/CS? Just curious because I'm not the biggest fan of the factory wheels and 18's will give me a bigger selection.

Yes 18's will fit. Same brakes as a normal GT and they come with 18's
