Wheel Thread

There seems to be a lot of scattered wheel pictures and information for these 2010+ Mustangs. So to make things simple post pictures of your aftermarket wheels here.
Please add any information you can give about your wheels (brand, size, offset, etc.) in your post.
Thanks,
Tim

Well seeing as how this thread just took off like wildfire, I guess I'll start. This is what I'm looking at for my White GT once I get it. These are HRE P40s. You can get them made in a variety of sizes and finishes. I'd be getting 20s with this same flat black finish. They're pretty similar to the RTRs, however, my deal with the RTRs is that they're only 19 inches, and I don't feel like the finish is dark enough. That extra inch makes a big difference in my opinion. Now I just have to make sure they can actually make these for my car. I wouldn't imagine it'll be an issue. Here's a picture of each for comparison:

I like the looks of the RTRs tires better unfortunately the rears fit poorly and stick out of the wheel wells. The side wall is just too short for me on the benz. I really wish I could have found a reasonably priced forged wheel in the size of the Steeda Spyders wheels. I think these fit perfect both the size of the wheel and the size of the tires. But that is a personal choice some think they look too big.

Stock wheels and tires 255/45-18, tire and wheel 56lbs
Steeda front 9.5" wide 275/35-20, tire and wheel 61lbs, +5lbs more than stock
Steeda rear 11" wide 315/35-20, tire and wheel 69.5lbs, +13.5lbs more than stock

I love the idea of a new wheel thread for the 2010+. Most of the older 05-09 threads are full of bullitts and foose wheels. I'm hoping with this newer bodystyle comes new ideas.
Unfortunately I still have the stock because I can't decide on the wheels I like yet.

I hope the thread takes off!

This is a good idea. I will be buying wheels and tires in the spring and am totally lost. I really want to like the RTR's, but have concerns about the offset in the rear....would not like my wheels sticking out. Need to be flush.

This is one of the wheels I am thinking about. True Forged Chicanes.

This is one of the wheels I have been looking at for a while. True Forged Chicanes. Comes in many colors or finishes. Custom sizes and offsets too.

I made my own mounting bracket about an inch lower than the one APR sells and I made side fences which I think look more appropriate for the Mustang.

Knowing that HREs are as expensive as they are, I found these TSW Nurburgrings, which I feel look almost as good. Only thing I don't like is that you can't get them in matte black, only gunmetal, bronze, and a "mirror" finish. To me, the gunmetal just isn't quite dark enough. Anyone know how much it would cost for a wheel place to refinish these wheels to make them black?

Here's a picture:
depends on the size and the finish you're looking for. For 19's and if you got them powder coated flat back, it'd probably run around $90-$120/wheel

Like the RR. Looks more red in the pics when I saw it in person. The GT500 wheels are just beatiful. Keep up the good work.

Here's a picture:
Matte black isn't black enough? Typical powder coat place charge from $40 to $100 a wheel for coating. A new wheel probably on the low side as there is less prep work.

That said I couldn't find a TSW wheel with the correct offset and width for the my Mustang. They were either too narrow or not enough positive offset so they would stick out. I heard that the RTR wheel is made by TSW and that particular size is only available from CDC or RTR which is weird since it doesn't fit correctly either as it sticks out in the back. Looks like TrueForge or some such name are the only choice in that style.
