I have a 2012 V6 with the Performance Package, and I love the wheels! I want to add the SVT Brembos to the front, and it's my understanding that these wheels won't clear without a spacer (although nobody seems to know exactly how much clearance there is).

I've never used wheel spacers before, but my understanding is that there are dangerous ones and safe ones. The car will be tracked, so safety is a big concern with wheel spacers, but I would really like to keep my stock 19" PP wheels/tires if possible.

Does anybody have any advice on a safe, reliable wheel spacer, and how much clearance I would actually need? I want to say that the PP wheels are 19x8.5" with a +42-43 offset.
