What to do about rear parking sensors after stripe installation

I'm curious what others have done in this case? I have stripes on my car now, but there is a cutout around my parking sensors. Is it hard to paint them? Is this something I might be able to DIY?

No extra vinyl to cover them up? Does that affect their operation?

I was worried about that too, so I went with a strip setup that worked out between the sensors... I think yours look fine like that if I had gone with wider stripes mine would look like that too...

Spray paint would be just fine.

They're painted now ... re-painting them won't hurt them.

Do they come in white?

Maybe you could pop them out and trade with someone that has grabber blue stripes on a performance white car.

Or just find some white ones.

But the paint will be millimeters thicker and therefor register false results. Or is it nanometers. Stupid metric system. Micrometers? **** it.

Those things come in different colors, there has to be somewhere you can order them. Maybe just pop into the dealership and see what it would be for them to order for you?

^ that.. buy new ones, if they come in white you're good or they might come "paint to match" in which case you paint them white.
like 2k7gtcs said, repainting the old ones, paint may be too thick

Yeah? No impact on sensor ability? I figure the corners are most important anyway.

I just noticed my stripes are a bit wider than yours. Do you measure the exact width of yours?

I think the sensors have painted caps on them. The guts will be the same but the caps could be scuffed and painted if need be.

Scuffing the centers isn't a bad idea at all. Would lessen the micron thickness of the current coat.

Have you talked to your local dealer and had them look into what the parts breakdown is for them?

White Plasti-dip. If it interferes with the sensors you can just peel it off
