Underhood painted parts
Hi guys.
With winter pretty much here in western canada, I've decided to do a few "money-saver mods" before Christmas comes up. A DIY if you wanna call it that.
Looking at the painted radiator covers on bangastang, and their stage 3 underhood dressup I though to myself "I can paint all those parts for significantly less than $1,800!"
I went to Canadian Tire and picked up a can of VHT header paint clear coat and a can of Dupli Colour Ford Blue.
It was the closest I could get to grabber blue.
Anyway, I started by painting my radiator cover, fuse box cover, coil covers, and intake.
Also painted my intake cover white, but that was just kill time, I'll probably put that back to stock or a different colour soon.
Up next for paint is the battery and master cylinder cover, and air raid intake tube, and coolant reservoir.
The ford blue isn't an exact match. In some light it looks really really good, other light source it looks just a hair greenish. But, I'm not going to any shows, so this is just for me.
