Best part is, I can remove/reconfigure it anytime I want, thanks to plastidip (lovin this stuff)....

The stripes are a nice touch. The roof is pretty cool to. It has a very "foose" 2 tone with the red pin stripes look to it. How did you do it? Do you have any pics of the process?
thanks, guys. I'm still up in the air on the whole look, but it's all in fun right now.
Rob, these are the only pics I have of the process...

Basically, just a matter of some careful masking and the pinstripes are just the vinyl ones you can get from any auto parts store.

Nite those pics are excellent! Thanks! I like the look. On the sterling grey it works. My car probably not, Kona doesn't show matte black very well. But with my new wheels I may be trying something like this. But I love Chip Foose's designs. He has a very classy 2 tone style. Your car is very close to that.
looks really good I used vinyl for my roof never tried plastidip did you just clean the roof then spray it with plastidip or is there any other prep needed? can you really take it off anytime with out damaging your paint job underneath?
Yeah I think it looks great too! I know foose has already been mentioned but if you go back and do it a different way you could make the stripes a little more like the magnaflow mustang and I think the stipes would flow better into the roof. Very nice and unique tho. I like what you've done.
thanks, guys! I'm still looking at some other designs ideas, which I'll try when the weather warms up again.
spitfire, plastidip doesn't do any damage at all and in fact, is a lot easier to remove than vinyl, because you don't have any glue residue to cleanup afterward; that said, it's not nearly as durable as vinyl, but a good alternative for someone who changes their mind as much as I do. No prep needed, other than a good cleaning.

stang8psi, I found that if you spray it on too thinly, it's more difficult to peel off, because it breaks too easily. when nice heavy coats are applied, it pulls right off in large pieces.
