Tri-bar on Roush Grille?

Tri-bar on Roush Grille?
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I want to install the Roush grilles but keep my tri-bar pony emblem (I want it to be black like the GT/CS) but I'm not sure of how to do that. Has anyone tried this? Here is a pick of the front of my car as it stands now.

Depending on if you can take the factory emblem off clean, you could use an adhesive to mount it to the new grille. Unfortunately, there's not many other options for a secure fit. Just make the emblem is positioned properly, and the adhesive should hold it fine. These emblems are light and don't take much to tie them down.

the emblem is on a bracket that goes through the grille and is held on by 2 washers in the back. its a pretty thick bracket so might have find a way to secure it behind the roush grille since it doesnt have the wholes in it already. depending on the depth of the roush grille you might be able to get a tight fit on the back with a zip tie. i plasti dipped my grille black and left the emblem off

As already stated, pick up a can of plasti-dip, for about $15. that way you can decide whether or not you feel its worth the extra money for the roush grill. I too wanted the roush grill for my car, but with mine being a gt/cs i decided it wasn't different enough to justify the price to change it (at least for now anyway). Also i can verify the emblem has two pegs on it with nuts on the back, you may luck out and have the bars in the grill line up with the pegs and slots in the roush grill, otherwise some trimming of the emblem may be involved.

Ok so I got the upper and lower Roush grille installed and I managed to do it in 2 hours with basic tools. Not hard at all. I took my time as this was the first time I have took off the bumper. The lower grille requires some light cutting of the tabs that hold the OEM grille in and most were saying you need a dremel or something like it but I managed to do it with a razor blade, no prob. I got the tri-bar on with 3M double sided tape and let it sit out in the OK 100 degree heat for a day and it seems to be holding good. The roush grille doesn't have a way to easily attach a tri-bar so I decided to go this route to save time and just in case I wanted to remove it. Not sure I want to keep it yet as I had it without the tri-bar for a couple days and it still looked good. It has a much meaner look now. Anyway here are a few pics. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics but my camera is broken at the moment.
