Using a copy the old style lettering
(sample from old)

used on the '68 California Special, I had a shop repro them into matte black decals. Put them on the hood scoop as something different. I am pleased with the results. Raining today so the pics are inside....

Local shops could not do the job because they had no way to reproduce the original style lettering. Ended up dealing with a shop in Az. that I used to work for and I knew they could accomplish the job. Once the places found out this was a copy of a car emblem, they would not do this without an ok from Ford. I contacted Ford and got the authorization and all was well.

Yep, maybe the sun will show itself tomorrow. Time is easy since we are retired.....
