Thinking if doing some 10" silver 3M anthracite (faux carbon fiber) GT500 style stripes on my DIB GT. What do you guys think, douchey or nice?

Threw in pix of the wrap and my car for reference.

My vote would be no, but I don't like carbon fiber so you shouldn't listen to me....

I like the color of the anthracite, but the pattern may be a little much. Keep it clean and classy!

I think it could look good. I don't think I've seen that before though, so it's hard to say for sure. Silver would definitely look good, and the CF pattern might just add a little uniqueness to it that probably wouldn't be noticed until you're up close-ish.

Thanks guys. I'm going to order a sample and put it against my hood for some perspective

I like it. I'm going to do carbon fiber stuff on my next car.

Good to know. Maybe I'll let a patch sit outside for a few weeks

That's a good idea. See if you can get a small patch and place on your car and take a pic. Maybe it'll give you a better idea

That's just bad quality though. I don't see why it would fade any faster than any other good quality vinyl.

I agree. It's just vinyl with a crosshatch pattern embossed in.
