You're rubbing? That shouldn't happen. Its a stock wheel on stock suspension. I have stock GT500PP rims and they don't rub on my car. I'm pretty sure that all the Mustangs fenders are the same from V6 all the way to the 500.

Unless I just don't know of something that's different from the V6's vs the GT's.

 

Thats exactly what I thought. But it turns out rubbing. And it's not between fender and tires cuz I kept tires to a extreme side and checked, no connection between fender and tires what so ever.

 

It's probably the steering stops, which are probably bigger on a V6 since the tires are narrower. I'm just guessing, as I had the same happen on my '00 when I put cobra wheels on it...

 

Ya. That's what I thought too. Not a big deal. Just annoying.

Just checked with a local tire store. And they charge $96 to retrain the sensors. WTH...

 

That is insane!!! You can buy the tool itself for that. Did you try discount tire or dealership?

Those crooks!! Seriously it takes all but 10 minutes.

 

I just went into discount tire and spoke with the manager and he told me they charge 8 bucks to train the sensors.

They will do a complete summer/winter changeover for 40! That includes syncing the new sensors in the winter mounts.

The shop you went to needs to be slapped.

 

****. I went another tire store and they charge $25 per tire. Lol

Let me find a discount tire around me and see what they say.
