What are opinions on which boss style stripe would look best on a race red car? I plan on lettering it with MCA.

C stripe, if I have to pick one....

 

It depends on colors. On the red car I like the C stripe slightly more, on the white body I like the L stripe better. If I were putting stripes on my Kona Blue Mustang, I think I'd go with a C stripe in silver. If I had Yellow blaze, it would be a black L stripe.

 

If I went with stripes I'd do L > C

 

Thanks for all the responses and votes so far. Looks like the C stripe is slightly winning so far. I think we need to add one additional vote to C too since Stang said he meant to vote for it. I have to admit I'm a bit surprised. First, I'll admit that I was leaning towards the C stripe, but I was thinking few people would like it. So I wanted to get opinions. It makes me comfortable now going that route since it does look fairly popular. By the looks of the voting, you really can't go wrong either way. It's great that we can bounce ideas off the community. Granted, we are customizing the car for ourselves, but I'd also like it to be pleasing to the eyes to others as well .

Completely agreed. That's why I picked a picture of a race red for both styles. I wanted to make sure people were voting on the stripe would actually look on that color. I think Race Red is one of those colors that actually looks really good with a more elaborate stripe. It's such an in your face color, that I think the contrast of black breaks it up just a bit in a great way.
