Striping alternative...thoughts?

So, I'm having some thoughts about how to style my car when it gets here and would like to hear your thoughts. I've pondered stripes, but not so sure as I don't want anything loud. What I'm now thinking, is matte black accents. I'll be getting it tinted right away, and the tint shop I use also does excellent graphics work, so what I'm thinking should be a walk in the park.

- matte black on the trunk panel between the tail lights, but keep the faux gas cap.
- matte black on the OE spoiler (got the backup camera so changing the spoiler is out)
- matte black hood bulge stripes (like these) and/or matte black plasti-dip the hood vents.

and MAYBE,

- matte black the roof

Basically, break up some of the shiny black. I'm on the fence about the roof, might be too much, as I'm going for small accents that'll really only be obvious in a second-look situation. The bonus to having this done with decals/wraps is that whatever I don't like, I can peel off.

Bro I went with gloss black super snake on my SGM looks so awesome. It stands out at some angles and others you can't tell they are there. Only down side with "racing stripes" is that everybody wants to race you

I plastidipped the gloss black surround. Pretty easy to do. I just tapped up the pony logo and right above the surround. Used old sheets to cover the tail lights and bumper. Came out pretty good.

I tried plastidip for some good spears but not as successful. It's really hard to get symmetrical lines with tape plus the dip sticks to the tape.

I have a grabber blue GT. I have plastidipped my rear faux gas cap, my spoiler, my roof, my hood vents, and my emblems before I changed them. Here's some pics.

If you do a first layer, and let it dry for about 5-10 minutes, then a heavier 2nd coat and peel the tape while it's still wet and it won't dry to the tape.

Well, I ordered the hood stripes from AM this morning, and definitely going to do a matte on the blackout panel. Going to look at it from there and may leave the spoiler and do a Boss diffuser instead. Going to leave the roof alone initially, may just get the AM overlays for the hood vent and only do the slats portion...still debating on that.

Thanks for the advice everybody!
