Question Stripes or Not?

I've been flip flopping with what I want to get with my car. I've decided that I'm going to get the GT Grille with the fog lamps / lights on them for my 2013 Sterling Gray V6, since that has been a dream of mine since day one.

Now I really want to get stripes to complete the look, but I'm wondering what is everyone else's opinion on two 12 inch black racing stripes (lemans stripes, whatever they're called lol) bumper to bumper? There's a part of me that says keep it nice and clean without it, but then there is the other part of me that thinks stripes would add so much more and look more sporty or fun. And since its a sterling gray, black stripes wouldn't be too tacky in my opinion.

So what's you're opinion on stripes? Y/N?

Thumbs up imo. Can't go wrong with the 10's or 12's. I like the way the 12's fill up the rear deck area and there's plenty of room on the hood for 'em.

Your Mustang color looks great without stripes-plain.

no on the stripes. I think we have reached our quota on awesome looking Mustangs with stripes. Might want to hold out :-)

Do it. Be sure to get a license plate that says "Stryper."

I also have a sterling grey V6, i want to go with 10" stripes myself, but I am waiting as those will be a treat only after I throw a supercharger on it (in a few years).

I just want to earn those stripes first

Lol! I don't care about any quota, I just care if they'd look good or not! I'll probably hold out for a while anyway

I know what you mean...I've still got like 5 years left to pay for the car yet I want to put even more money into it for mods. It doesn't make any financial sense but I definitely want to get some things done so it's not stock.

Haha, that's an awesome idea. I might need to arrange for that.
