I actually like the pedestal spoiler, but you can't get it without the hideous hood scoop. So spoiler delete for me, and I will have the dealer install a gt500 spoiler.

I just have to figure out how they are going to match my red candy color, because I am NOT going to have them piant it on the car.

It's for the satellite radio functions, traffic info, sports info, etc.

Navigation is on the hard drive but it integrates the traffic info from the satellite radio.

You can order the pedestal spoiler as a standalone option. I was just referring to the 05-09 how they had the generic looking two pillar spoiler. The 2010+ pedestal is better. I just wish they didn't slap it on the CS.

Not on the 2011. It's only part of the package along with the ugly hood scoop.

Yes, I know Ford's website shows it as a stand alone option, but it isn't according to my dealer and the order sheets.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me, and let me know the option order number, thanks.

I built a GT for a friend last night and found it for $33X on the B&P site. Even if you can't, order it through the dealer and have them install it.

Yes, it does show up on Ford's build and price site, but it cannot be ordered from the factory.

But if the dealer is going to install it (and paint it-boo) I may as well see what else there is.

Now if you told me they came painted from the factory, I'd definitely go with whatever comes factory painted.

GT500 spoiler is available aftermarket for a lot less than the OEM one.

And I don't know of any body shop worth their salt that would paint one while it is on the car.

Hmmm, now I have to start looking around to see if anyone sells them pre-painted......

I'd poke your dealer about that. I don't see why they can't make that happen, especially if you order a color that the CS comes in.

What makes you think you can get them pre-painted from the factory? I'd much prefer this than some bodyshop painting it.

Since it's standard fare on the CS, I don't see why they wouldn't offer it in some factory colors. A lot of manufacturers do that on panels like that.

You are 100% correct. The minimum you can get is the Spoiler with Hood scoop for some reason. I actually really like the spoiler and the hood scoop doesn't bother me...so that's what coming on the 2011 I ordered.

Yep, I'm in for the whole GT Coupe Accessory Pkg 5. I dislikethe standard lip spoiler and spoiler delete for me. I really liked the pedestal spoiler and 1/4 window louvers, was on the fence about the hood scoop but the more i considered it i started leaning in favor of it. I liked the GT/CS setup but not a fan of billit grill ( just not me ) so the Pkg 5 was similar to some degree. To each their own, everyone has different taste, thats a good thing.

I got this as well. The scoop is alright, nothing special. I really like the pedestal spoiler and the window louvers. I know that there are "better" options out there, but considering the amount of $$ I'm spending on this car, I can't really afford to do any modding for the foreseeable future.

I've got a couple things in mind down the road, but until then, the OEM package will have to do. (Although, I don't like the decklid panel at all. Probably going to replace that sooner rather than later.)

Hurst Performance will be putting out an accessories catalog this fall, and it will have their rear spoiler as a standalone item. That will give another non-Ford option.

I still waiver on the spoiler. I don't necessarily think it looks like an afterthought but I am not sure I like it as much. I kind of like the stock spoiler and I like the bare rear end also, it's going to be a toss up for me. I would like to see a Brembo pkg car with spoiler delete, that I can really get a good grasp on what I feel would be the best look. (Non convertible)

mine came with a spoiler delete from factory and it sort of bothered me a little. i think the gt looks out of place without a spoiler (more V6-ish?) anyway, here are some comparison pics on the brembo pckg
