It is nice, but I preordered one from SHR. SHR piece cost almost twice as much as that one. I like the way they make theirs.

Hm, is this the only non-honey comb black out that eliminates the trunk curve? I'm kind of on the fence about the "bumps" that are on the top and bottom, but I really like the look of just flat black instead of honey comb.

SLP Panel

I personally don't like the convex area, especially since Ford kept the taillamps flat. Had they convexed them to match the shape of the lid, it probably would have come out looking better. That said, I found the SLP panel and ordered it just before Christmas. Today it arrived, very well packed with eveything need to install. Takes all of 10 minutes.

I'll let you guys be the judge. Even though I have the over the tops stripes, I just had do do something. This panel is the exact finish as the stripes, so I think it really solved my issue with the back.

This fits practically flush with the taillamps. What looks like a ridge on the top and bottom is actually lower than the panel to match with the groove in the taillamps.

I like it and it is the only one that I can use and retain the California Special "cap".

I like it... I think... you guys think its worth it on a black car?

The pics above look nice...but I wish I could see it on a black car with a GT500 rear spoiler/valence.

decisions decisions lol

This is how I did it. Ford panel with my Roush trim reinstalled and tail light trim added to balance it out.

How is it to being scratch resistant? The decal one seems to scratch very easy.

So far no scratches, and it's been on for quite awhile now.
