Side exhaust - what to do??

So I was considering the gt500 quad exhaust and rear diffuser, but was looking at the side exhaust kits. I like the idea of exhaust out of the side. What in the world would I do to make it look professional and what the heck would I do to the rear of the car to make it blend and not have missing exhaust?

Anyone have any suggestions or pics for inspiration?

Thanks!

Gut some stock axlebacks (to save weight), and hang them where they would normally go.

Well I'd like to not have any exhaust in the back.. some sort of rear bumper without exhaust that looks clean.

Don't think you're gonna find any rear bumper that lacks exhaust cut outs. You could install the BOSS302 side exhaust, but it's not actually visible from the side if that's what you're going for.

If you can find this for a 13+ sure. But that wont work since its for a 11+. Might want to bring it to a custom body shop and have them make something for you. Otherwise I think you're sol.

Alright. Get yourself some 1/16-inch aluminum sheet, and cut out some pieces that can be riveted to the rear valance where your exhaust tips would be. Next, instead of trying to do something stylish, just get yourself some 2x4-inch stainless oval tubing and run the exhaust out in front of the rear tires on each side of the car.

That's how I would do it. Of course, I'm half insane.

Here's a link for oval tubing: SpinTech

That looks nice. However, due to various reasons I ended up going with the gt500 rear diffuser and sw gt500 catbacks.
