Shelby "Deep Draw" hood -- where to buy?

I'm looking for a Shelby "Deep Draw" hood for my 2012 V6 build. Anybody know where I can buy one, without spending $10.5k on the full GTS package I don't want?

I've looked and never found one. If you do let us know. Seibon makes a hood for our cars that is vented like the GT500 only the vent is bigger so it looks pretty good and will be functional.

That thing looks good, however the site says it is for 2010-2011's, is there a difference in hood styles from '11 to '12?

Is it also true what what I hear that for parts that come on the GTS and the GT350's Shelby American will not sell you things like hoods and the like unless you actually own one of there cars?

The Seibon hood does look good, although I'm not a fan of Seibon. If they start making a "Deep Draw" hood though, I might have to rethink that!

Sweet deal, I ran a fouls errand today by calling Shelby American and leaving a message asking if they sell the GTS hoods, lets see what they tell me. I understand the exclusivity of not selling them, however it just seems a bad business practice.

I agree with you. Be prepared for sticker shock if they do offer you one. You can buy carbon hoods from $600 to $1600, Shelby wanted some thing like $6000 for a replacement hood for a Supersnake. I might be remembering it wrong but I do remember the price was just out of this world.

It may have been 6k back in the day, I know that currently the black mamba hood is cheaper and probably more functional then the current super snake hood. If I get no call back that will also be interesting, again I understand not wanting to sell something so their customers feel special, however it seems bad PR to not contact people back.
