Saleen Quarter Louvers
I've bought a pair of pre painted saleen quarter louvers at a good price.
They have not arrived yet, but the trouble is I don't know whether I like them or not. I cannot decide if they are tacky and trying to hard or if they look right.
What are your opinions?

The style is definitely different, but they don't seem to sit down flush, like there's a gap all the way around. That said, the above looks like a show car, so the actual productions ones may fit better. If they're already on their way to you, might as well mock them into place with some painters tape and see if you like the look, and if you don't like, send them back.
I feel your pain. I bought MMD Classic louvres last spring. I sat on them for a while and was just too lazy to install them, but in that time my own tastes changed and now I don't care for the louvred look. I'm just hanging onto them cuz you never know, I could change my mind again.
