rtr decklid panel

I took my trucarbon decklid panel off my 13 and replaced it with the rtr panel. The trucarbon is now up for sale.

If someone buys it I would use the money for a photography class. Decklid looks good...I think.

Is your licence plate surround painted gloss black to match the car? Everything about that looks good, seriously considering this for my black 13

It was a pain for me. I ended up scratching the paint from the hole saw. If you dony cut the hole perfectly aligned, the panel will not sit right. I had to hammer one side of the hole down to get the panel to lay flat. Im sure its an easy job for a handy man of sorts, but it was hard for me.

I agree. I want to do it to mine, idk if i could cut that 5in either. And it needs something else. Maybe "Mustang" letters through the middle kinda like the "Shelby" letters on the gt500.

D%mn I guess I am going to have to get this. Thanks!! I have cut front and rear bumpers so this won't bother me. Have to get some stripes for that area though.

PS: Maybe next year I can get a small "supercharged" emblem for the bottom left.

I can't tell if it looks good with the black car or not. With other colors I love it because it stands out but with the black it kinda blends in. Not sure how I feel

I like the panel...quite a bit, but I don't think I could bring myself to hacking a 5" hole in my car to install it.

That panel with just a pony emblem in the center (sort of like on the new 2015) would look pretty sweet...

Hec, I wouldn't even mind doing this to my car in the future and then put a tri-bar pony right in the middle... Oh that'd look so much better!
